A couple of my OCs, whom I love very much ^^

I love 'em all, but I have to say, Nadia has got be the prettiest chara I've ever created ^_^ ...and I've always loved Lance, he was kind of reawakened for an RP character recently and is doing well.

Okay, so, started school, so now I am busier with my two classes this semester, thankfully they're both in the morning and end by 1:00 pm, and they don't involve huge amounts of homework, so I have spare time.
so I can still get on here, but I am still adjusting to the new schedule and trying to get my sleep cycle back on track, which is proving difficult, but not impossible.

However I am sick right now, unfortunately, so this week I'm doing a lot of sleeping, so that will also take some time off my internet time...for instance I will likely not be back on here until later tonight before bed, if at all.

on a better not, took a trip up to the desert (Palmdale-Lancaster area in California) to get peaches and took some photo stop so new photos will be uploaded soon, got some shots of the ruins of the tropico mines up there and got a hall of photos from Blackbird park - a sort of ever expanding aviation exhibit near Lockheed Martin's Palmdale base best known for it's A-12, SR-71, and F-117 static displays as well as some other artifacts. though it has now expanded to include several other planes, we got there late and only had time to take pictures in the original park, but I got enough to complete a slide show project long in the making, will post that with my video of our run down the "Musical road" at the end of this post.

I have one piece of new artwork to post, a contest entry of my own - an anime-interpretation of Degas' "L'etoile" painting, (art snobs, get off me)

I use regular Prismacolor brand pencils, so far they're the best quality I've found, but they can be hard to sharpen, their soft leads make for smoother color, but they're also fragile and break with infuriating ease @_@

and I will not go entirely digital - or entirely any medium really, I think people that stay with one medium can limit themselves in the end. I would like to learn digital eventually, yes, but I also think there's no substitute for a good traditional piece that doesn't involve an "undo" button. lol

Samus Aran! I was looking up pictures of Samus for art reference (I was going to draw Varia suit shooting missle but I wasted 6 sheets of paper because I can't draw her >:( ) and I kept coming across Zero Suit Samus pictures and the more I looked at her I noticed her face resembles yours quite a bit.
I was wondering if I can photo manipulate you with blue eyes and blond hair to show you?

I made a quick Samus manip using your Tsubaki photo. It's not professional looking but it looks good enough to show that you do look a lot like Samus, I even put a small pic of Samus in corner to show face comparison. I added a space background also. I want to show you so I'm awaiting your permission to upload it, I could e-mail it also.
