Character Description: CaineChara Bio: Caine (Irish, "Son of the Fighter")

Caine is the main Antagonist in the backstory for my video game concept that I had to make for my "Survey of the Game Industry" class back in first quarter at the Art Institute. He's the shadow that constantly stalks the protagonist, 14-year-old Fledgling mage, James Kestrel.
(Side Note: "Mages" in this story dimension, are specified as such because they are born with something inside them called a "Mage Spirit" that gives them sorcerer-like powers and other enhancements, but these spirits are like wild animals inside each vessel and must be trained with the individual themselves in order for them to become controlled and safe, otherwise they can begin to seemingly control their individual or even destroy them completely if driving too far, and they can be very unpredictable.)
It is uncertain who Caine was, but one thing is for sure, h

Curled leaves are land mines littered
on the lawn where imprints of twigs
and a nurturing robin's tracks collect.
Branchlets and leaflets stem from
porch step railings and mailboxes;
the numbers read odd on the east,
even on the west side of the asphalt:
The engraved letters on
the siding reads, "Davis."
This house is home to family
so let the sparrows in.

furniture rooted to the floor
